Farm Grown Chicken

We raise up Cornish Giants that are grain fed and free ranged. Hens weigh roughly 6-7 lbs. and carry most of their weight in the breasts. Roosters are larger than hens and are more muscular. They weigh roughly 8-10 lbs. and fill out their legs first having meatier thighs. They are then taken to a certified butcher for processing. Average weights are between 4 and 10 lbs. Please email us at amy@zobellhomestead.com with any questions and to order! Pricing on meat birds may vary due to cost of feed and butcher fees.
