About Us

We moved onto our little farm in 2020 and started our life long dream of becoming homesteaders. We have been working with chickens since the very first month we arrived on our land. We have steadily and diligently expanded our operation to working with different poultry breeds including; Ameraucana’s, Silkie’s, Olive Eggers, turkeys, and more. We take pride in hatching, and raising our chickens in a safe and open environment to bring you the highest quality poultry products on the market. We are proud to provide the freshest, tastiest, and most diverse eggs, as well as delicious farm grown chicken meat. We also provide day old chicks, or 1 year old hens, all depending on what you require. Furthermore, we are excited to announce that we will soon be expanding our operation to include selling pork, beef, and honey, so that we can further meet our customers differing needs. Let us know what we can provide for you!!

We are Stryder and Amy ZoBell!

How can we help you?

Yes. Our chickens are housed in an insulated coop with an automatic chicken door that opens each morning when the sun rises and closes after the chickens put themselves to bed each night. They have 12 acres of space to roam as they please. During the winter months when it is too cold for them to be outside the automatic door is locked shut to prevent frostbite and other harm to our flock. Even through winter our chickens are able to venture outdoors so long as the weather permits.
Egg density will depend on the age of the hen and the amount of calcium in her diet. Older hens lay larger eggs that may even have wrinkly shells due to her advanced age. Our flock is provided with a feeder with crushed calcium so they always have enough calcium in their diet.
A dark colored yolk is a telltale sign of an egg that is nutrient rich. Our chickens are fed organic feed produced by a local Albertan farmer with added crushed flax seed. We supplement our chickens with vitamin water and a feeder filled with crushed calcium. As such our hens produce vitamin rich, omega 3 eggs which typically have a darker colored yolk.
